The fujichrome slide is a type of reversal film and produces an image on a transparent base, predominantly used to produce transparencies instead of negatives and can be produced in various sizes, the most common choice with amateur photographers being 35mm.

Fujichrome slides are developed using the E-6 process as opposed to Kodachrome which use the K-14 process.
